Erasmus+ WESEMi projekt keskendub metsandus- ja põllumajandussektori õpilaste ja spetsialistide koolitamisele, et nad oleksid eetilise maamajandusettevõtte juhid. Meie eesmärk on julgustada säästvaid tavasid, aidata saada Wildlife Estate Label’it ning edendada põllumajanduse ja looduskaitse kooseksisteerimist.
Parandate oma võimet hinnata maa parimat kasutamist, võttes arvesse selliseid tegureid nagu mulla kvaliteet, vee kättesaadavus ja ökoloogiline tundlikkus.
Kõigi kolme rühma eesmärk on tasakaalustada inimeste vajadusi ja keskkonna tervist, tagades, et loodusvarad on kättesaadavad ka tulevastele põlvkondadele. Põllumajandustootjad, maaomanikud ja looduskaitseorganisatsioonid teevad sageli koostööd sellistes projektides nagu elupaikade taastamine, säästev maakorraldus ja keskkonnaharidus.
Wildlife Estates’i märgis on sertifitseerimine, mille eesmärk on edendada ja premeerida jätkusuutlikke metsloomade ja elupaikade majandamise tavasid era- ja riigimaal. Seda antakse tavaliselt maaomanikele, põllumajandustootjatele ja organisatsioonidele, kes näitavad pühendumust bioloogilise mitmekesisuse säilitamisele, säästvale maakasutusele ja ökoloogilisele haldusele.
The Nature Fund was established by landowners in 2021 and is a leading partner of the project, whose role is to cooperate with interest groups in Estonia, create a learning platform in cooperation with partners and distribute it. Being an initiative of landowners, the principle of which is to deal with nature care issues on private lands and this conservation cooperation holds the right to certify Wildlife Estate label in Estonia.
OnProjects is a consultancy specializing in European funds management. It has a long track record in training projects in various fields, with a particular focus on projects related to agriculture and rural development. The various services it provides include projects quality assurance/monitoring and web and graphic design.
Polish Ecological Club in Krakow Gliwice Chapter is a local chapter of the Polish Ecological Club, one of the leading independent environmental NGO in Poland. PEC Gliwice has been working on topics related to ecology and environment since 1988, focusing on topics such as: sustainable agriculture, deforestation, sustainable soil management and more. The main mission of PEC Gliwice is: shaping environmental awareness, improving the condition of Polish environment and the protection and conservation of Polish natural and cultural heritage.
Luua Forestry School (LFS), established in 1948, holds a unique distinction as the only vocational school in Estonia that specializes in various forestry-related subjects. Our constantly upgraded and technologically advanced training and apprenticeship facilities provides the labour market with specialists such as foresters and managers, arboriculturists, forest machinery managers, hiking guides, landscapers, woody plant assessors, green area caretakers, etc. Apart from that LFS also offers re-training and in-service courses for field professionals bringing a unique, yet fundamental perspective to the development of WESEM’s training content.
The European Landowner Organization ELO, created in 1972, is a unique Federation of national associations from the EU27, which represents the interests of the landowners, land, and forest and building managers and rural entrepreneurs at the European political level. ELO develops The Wildlife Estates label , a core element of ELO’s public facing activities, it highlights, and most importantly, rewards positive sustainable biodiversity management strategies on private land.
We are currently building the WESEM Training and Mentoring Platform – A space designed to promote sustainable land management and connect those committed to conservation and the Wildlife Estate Label certification, among other functionalities.
